More for the Military

We're sending off another animal! This time it's off to our friend Tara over at Army Wife Talk Radio Cubby bear in fatigues to see if she has some soldier families that listen and might enjoy him. Doesn't he look adorable in his fatigues?

Do you know someone in need who might enjoy our critters? Please let us know!

And we're always in need of new sponsors! Visit our sponsor page and help spread the love with stuffed animals and critters who care!

Cara's Walk for the March of Dimes

Today we chat with Cara Mirabella of The Household Helper about her upcoming walk for the March of Dimes. It's a quick audio but I learned a lot about this great organization and how it helps ALL babies, not just those in critical situations.

Joey's posse logoCara's son Joey was a premie baby and he's now a healthy strappin' 2 year old with a lot of energy! You can see the picture of him as a tiny newborn when you visit Cara's site:

Thanks for chatting Cara!

Another interview with Haylee about her friends...

I was blessed to talk with Haylee and her mommy again today. This time Haylee fills me in on the details of her special friends, Izzy and Abby. We sent animals to these special little girls on behalf of Haylee.

As you can hear, Haylee has a very special heart. She meets other special children via school and the internet and cares for them deeply. She prays for them during her nightly prayers and as you can hear on the interview, sacrifices her personal spending money to give to those in need.

If only more children in the world (and grown ups!) could be as tender hearted as this young lady... the world would be a much better place!

Enjoy the interview! Here are the links we mentioned on the call:

**Update - apologies to Izzy and Abby that your boxes got mixed up! Will resend next week so you get the animals that Haylee wanted each of you to have! **

Critters off to Virginia...

It's been a fun critter shipping week already. Yesterday we packed up critters to send off to someone that we're hoping to partner with later this year to help the families of those who risk their lives to serve us in the military! I'm so excited and can't wait to share more.

In the meantime, here's a picture of the two sample animals we shipped off yesterday for that:

A couple more critters are on their way

We're sending off two more critters today on behalf of my good friend Haylee over at Haylee Heavenlys. Haylee has some very special friends and because of her big heart, she wanted them to have some sweet critters to love - and to know that they are loved by her.

Animals for Izzy and Abby

Watch this week for another interview with Haylee to hear the precious stories about the girls who will be getting these cute animals.

Thanks Haylee!

Stuffed Animals Can Help Relieve Stress

Teddy BearI heard about THIS news story today and how giving a child in a very stressful situation (like war, illness, family death, etc) a stuffed animal can help to ease the strain and give them some comfort.

Of course we always knew that was true, otherwise we wouldn't be in existence, but it's nice to read it from something so official! :-)

My interview with Haylee

Finally after trying for a long long time to get on the phone with my new friend Haylee and her mom - we did it!

Haylee is the young lady behind
Haylee's Heavenlys - a lovely website where Haylee shares a little bit about her life as well as her gorgeous jewelery creations that she makes for herself, her mom and sister and her friends as well as to sell.

But, as you'll hear on the call, Haylee has a very big heart and is now giving her bracelets and anklets to other kids in need and we're actually going to be partnering together to spread her love with others.

So click on the play button to here our special interview with Haylee and her mom Tricia. Thanks again Haylee! You've made my life a whole lot better just by talking with you!!!
